I spoke with the city traffic engineer at the last charrette about
this. He basically jumped up and down and screamed that these streets
can not be made one-way. It seems that they are intended to be used
as connecting streets, and allow access to the central business district.
I still don't see why through traffic can't take the bigger streets,
but that's what I was told.
