The only hesitation I would offer residents of Walker Avenue about
bilaterial parking is our experience over here on Maryland. We currently
have parking on both sides and a double yellow line. We (the residents)
have also lost several mirrors and have had body damage to vehicles parked
on the street. So our comfort level with parking in the street is pretty
low.

The removal of the double yellow may be helpful as it no longer provides a
"path" for vehicles to take down the road and, thereby, drivers may reduce
their speed.

I guess we shall see....
